Kimberly A. Martinez-Lejarza, born on May 29, 1981, grew up in Miami, Florida, and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2006. She graduated from the University of Florida in 2002, with highest honors, Phi Beta Kappa, with a B.S. degree in psychology, and from the University of Miami School of Law in 2006, cum laude, with a J.D. degree. While attending the University of Miami School of Law, Ms. Martinez-Lejarza received the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement Award in Trusts & Estates (Spring 2006) and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Professional Responsibility (Fall 2005). She was also an Associate Editor of the Inter-American Law Review.
Ms. Martinez-Lejarza is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar, as well as the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar. She is also currently a member of the Dade County Bar Association.
She spent one year as a judicial intern for Federal Magistrate Judge John J. O’Sullivan, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida, and has also served as a Certified Legal Intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Southern District of Florida.
Her practice areas include estate planning, estate administration, and trust administration.
